Great observation! One of my favorite books on all things quantum is Lynne McTaggart’s The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe (2003).

Let’s keep marveling at how God reveals himself…keep observing, Rainey! You speak beautifully to the mysteries of the universe!

I’ve seen commentaries about this painting, that Van Gogh showed symptoms of Astigmatism here. As a child, before I had corrective lenses I saw “Halos” around streetlamps. Wonder if my glasses are keeping me from seeing the Quantums ?

Exactly....the effort of gathering, of knowing....I love this and have a star by it! I also made a copy. Many thanks...just a lovely reflection...you translate the gathering with such clarity! Blessings!

Beautiful post! Jesus said that heaven isn’t a place you go but a possibility right here and now. The author of Hebrews says in part that faith is the assurance of what we cannot see. Science tells us that matter and energy are interconnected , and more importantly, we cannot know everything about it (Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle). Your post sums up this mysterious intersection of science and faith beautifully!

Whatever Van Gogh saw or intended, you have seen something that feels beautiful and true, and you've articulated it so well, as usual. Thank you, Rainey. You help me to see works of art as icons or windows to a deeper reality. Brilliant and beautiful.
