“The world we have created is a product of our thinking. If we want to change the world we have to change our thinking...no problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it. We must learn to see the world anew.” – Albert Einstein

Sam Cooke was talking specifically about the sin of slavery, which we continue to pay for. What does the country look like that has finally, cleanly, paid that karmic debt?
"A Change is Gonna Come," written and performed by Sam Cooke, 1964.

virtually all good parenting advice tells parents to talk about their children's strengths, building them up (actually this is true for supervisors in business as well) rather than constantly trying to fix the flaws. America practices this very rarely such as in the days after 9-11 but wouldn't it be wondeful to see us adopt it as the citizens of this nation!
